Optional Features The AMSTON Filter Press is available in a number of configurations to suit the application, solids loading, cycle times and extent of operator input.
The Air Track is an air assisted plate shifter for use when there are a significant number of filter plates to be opened for cake discharge. Air Track is a carriage that is manually controlled by the operator but opens the plate pack one-by-one without the need for the operator to force the plates back.
When there are large number of very large plates, an automatic plate shifter can be fitted to the unit to automatically open the plate pack up one-by-one. The plate shifter is controlled pneumatically/electrically and is motor driven.
On applications where the highest cake solids content or shorter filtration cycle is required, the filter press can be fitted with a full or mixed pack membrane plates.
