Sludge Dewatering & Slurry Dewatering with the Amston Filter Press

AMSTON Filter Presses are used for the purpose of dewatering sludge and slurry produced in wastewater treatment, and chemical and mineral processing. Most wastewater treatment processes will produce sludge or slurry that is commonly disposed as a liquid waste. This sludge or slurry can be dehydrated in an Amston Filter Press via a method called sludge dewatering. By using an Amston Filter Press a reduction of up to 90% sludge volume can be achieved.
In most instances the sludge or slurry is conditioned with polyelectrolyte and then dewater in an Amston Filter Press to produce a solid dry filter cake.
